I stopped by practice today, my eyes could have been deceiving me but I think I saw a former Big Red QB out there....looks like you got your wish.

This could be a wild season for IUP fans. Its been a long time since there were this many variables with this team & this season. The only teams that weren't decimated by the transfer portal seems to have been East Stroudsburg and Kutztown.

Well, we're used to 'wild' seasons.

So, bring it on.

We've been through some crazy endings the past few years -- good and bad. But, the 'bad' ones have been really bad -- some of them on the level you couldn't even make up the endings.

I found this explanation online, so I think it should be last week based on the first permissable contest date

A Division II football team can begin preseason practices 24 days before the first permissible contest date or 10 days before the institution's first day of classes, whichever is earlier.

The defending PSAC West champions have been picked to do it again.

IUP has been selected as the favorite in the 2026 PSAC West Preseason Poll after capturing the division title last season. The Crimson Hawks enter the new campaign with high expectations as they look to return to the PSAC Championship Game and make another run at the NCAA Division II playoffs.

The 2026 season kicks off Sept. 3 as IUP opens the year on the road at Ashland.

Well, I personally feel much more confident when IUP plays on the road. Sounds odd, but Tort's teams are way more focused away from Miller.

Some (most) of his teams WTF moments have come in Indiana.
