I stopped by practice today, my eyes could have been deceiving me but I think I saw a former Big Red QB out there....looks like you got your wish.

Well, we're used to 'wild' seasons.Originally posted by Fightingscot82 View Post
This could be a wild season for IUP fans. Its been a long time since there were this many variables with this team & this season. The only teams that weren't decimated by the transfer portal seems to have been East Stroudsburg and Kutztown.
So, bring it on.
We've been through some crazy endings the past few years -- good and bad. But, the 'bad' ones have been really bad -- some of them on the level you couldn't even make up the endings.

Give us the scoop.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View PostDon't look now, boys and girls, but -- call it a hunch -- we just may have a QB battle on our hands.
I wouldn't say this is a good thing, BTW.
PS: I am sure that the Ohio State kid didn't transfer to ride the bench. He seems like an athlete, so there may be a position change for him.

I found this explanation online, so I think it should be last week based on the first permissable contest date
A Division II football team can begin preseason practices 24 days before the first permissible contest date or 10 days before the institution's first day of classes, whichever is earlier.

If they haven't already, they should soon. I believe the rule is still 30 days before the first game.

IUP and Slimey Pebble not on the list of bands performing. IUP not going under Doc would be unfathomable.

It’s the oddest, most maddening thing ever. I’m already wondering what’s going to happen this year.Originally posted by IUPbigINDIANS View PostWell, I personally feel much more confident when IUP plays on the road. Sounds odd, but Tort's teams are way more focused away from Miller.
Some (most) of his teams WTF moments have come in Indiana.
