Smothering the Ship offense these days in not exactly a huge accomplishment. About the only team that hasn't done it this year is Millersville. Snarky comment noted.

The website everyone on here loves, D1 Rejects, created a College Gameday style show called Small School Saturday, desk set up from the tailgate area and all. They'll be at the Ferris vs Grand Valley game on Saturday. This is great content. Next year should get them at SRU at IUP.

All joking aside, for a very small population at each of our schools, that's a pretty cool thing. Over the years I've acquired Edinboro football & basketball jerseys. No helmets, though.

I would think it's fairly obvious that shutting out a bad offense is not as impressive as shutting out a good offense. So, yeah, if you were the only team to hold down Ship's offense this season it would be considerably more impressive. Shut out one of the contenders, and I'd be a lot more impressed.
