A few early thoughts...

I get that Lincoln (PA) is a downgrade from non-PSAC teams West Chester has played in the past, but it's a nice intra-county battle which should certainly draw a decent crowd for Lincoln.

Frostburg vs Shepherd should be a hell of a game. If the second-half Shepherd shows up against Frostburg, it could prove to be huge for the postseason.

But, Slippery Rock vs Minnesota-Duluth... WOW. Just wow. Getting a traditional NSIC power to come to Western Pennsylvania is borderline miraculous, so big props to SRU for pulling it off.

A few early thoughts...

I get that Lincoln (PA) is a downgrade from non-PSAC teams West Chester has played in the past, but it's a nice intra-county battle which should certainly draw a decent crowd for Lincoln.

But, Slippery Rock vs Minnesota-Duluth... WOW. Just wow. Getting a traditional NSIC power to come to Western Pennsylvania is borderline miraculous, so big props to SRU for pulling it off.

I’d go up to Rock to watch that. Duluth is consistently a 7-9 win team in a very good conference and a perennial playoff participant. I lived in NSIC country for a while and got to see some games. The top PSAC teams can compete with the top NSIC teams and this game in particular should be a dandy. I expect a bounce back year for Rock and they’d be my early favorite to win the West.

When I was a kid, it seemed like every year one of the Edinboro non-conference games was always Hillsdale. When I was a student, it seemed like it was always Tiffin and WVU Tech.

I can promise very few are lining up to play Kutztown in non-conference.

So, if they have a partner ... keep it going.

Bloomsburg opened with Stonehill almost every year from 2012-2022. The only exceptions were 2018 when they opened with Merrimack and 2020 when there was no season.

That would be my guess, but I'm waiting until there's schedule confirmation before updating the list. Kutztown-Assumption has turned into quite a rivalry, albeit a tad one-sided, but usually, the games are competitive from what I can recall.
