Reading on VSU game notes. This was the first time that VSU has gone undefeated.
Pretty difficult to do in the GSC!

I have to say another congrats to VSU!

Y'all made some of the worst mistakes I've ever witnessed in college football in that game (the decision to field the punt and the toss back into the endzone) and still found a way to win. Miraculous!

As I said in my column, write that thank you note to NDC. Without last week's wake up call, this would have probably gone a different direction.

Certainly want to offer Congratulations to the Blazers as well !! They didn't lose their composure & kept on scoring.

Now that 2pt loss at the first game of the season at NDC doesn't sting as much for the Rams this season.

Keep it going next season!

I hate that VSU won it all, but I'm happy for the fine folks on here. Didn't watch the game, but kept up with it and looked like it was a fun one!

From what I could tell everything looked great. One neat thing they did was to think of the dance teams and cheerleaders and hosted a breakfast for them Saturday morning. And all the players got cowboy hats!!

All the players went out to the elementary schools on Friday. Made a lot of Blazer fans there. One 7th grade teacher assigned homework for the weekend that they were to watch the game on Saturday....lol....

Rogan wells 19-31 -349yds 0 INTs 5TDs
Jayru Campbell 10-18- 99 yds 1INT 1TD

Jayru's 1 TD was the INT/pitch we gave them...hardly a TD pass.

What is ironic, is that Ferris was able to contain our running game. Normally we get around 270 yards per game.
We closed down their passing game, which gets about the same in passing yards.

Two aggressive defenses live up to it. What a game.

Just noticed, that Jayru only passed 10x???! Is that right??
Someone from G.V. told me that their secondary was very suspect. Guess coaches figured that out. But very surprised how they limited our run game.

Kade finished playing college ball in 2015 (3 years ago). That'd put him somewhere in his mid-20's (maybe slightly past 25?).

VSU football site lists him as a Grad Assistant. I wonder when the OC promotion came.

Regardless, if he's running the offense and calling the plays it's been potent this year at 52 ppg.
