Anyone know if Coach Goff is related to Coach Ray Goff of IGA fame?

No clue, but I imagine if he was it'd have been mentioned somewhere in his bio or the intro press conference.

This will all depend on how well VSU can plug the holes left on the offensive line, namely at center.

Gonna be an interesting year of GSC football, as always.

Fortunately, the backups got plenty of snaps last year, on both offense and defense. I recall watching the 2nd string near the end of the season and noticing the skills were there ( Blazers kept scoring), just needed some discipline and seasoning to prevent movement and holding calls.

Somebody said they say Larold talking with Goff. He use to be a center in high school.
Of course, they used leather helmets back then. But, he's added weight !!

I WISH you would (could) get your facts straight! Helmets were introduced the year after I graduated.
You ARE right about one thing tho, If I WAS the new center, I'd be HELL to move.

Yeah. that's the question. Although , there is no doubt to his quality of play, however, his stamina could be an issue.

I see where Coach Goff is already on the recruiting trail as he offered a good looking athlete out of Cross City, FL and Lake City, FL a couple days ago. I se we also got a commitment from a big DT from Lowndes and have offered one or two offensive lineman from Lowndes and Madison, FL.

Jeremy King at center will be a difficult hole to fill. He was a leader, and set the example of how players should carry themselves on and off the field. We wish him well as he continues on to the next stage of his career. As always, next man up!
