GAC Stadium Thread

I usually post a similar thread on the MIAA page yearly. I want to know how would you rank the GAC stadiums 1-12? In doing so I typically mean the aesthetics and facilities of the stadiums rather than gameday atmosphere.

I'm trolling. In sorry but I have attended games at nwosu atu hsu obu seosu and uam. So I am going to add my two cents . Nwosu if you tailgate /watch game from parking Hill is a great gamedame experience . And Atu has a great game day experience.

They will probably finish removing or cover the track at OBU when the new turf is installed.

3. SAU (Continue to work on the stands and bathrooms)
4. NW OK (Better facilities than performance on the field)
5. Ouachita (Grass field, will probably be #3 or #4 after the turf is in)
6. Henderson (Has the possibility of being the best, love the bowl feel)

Good Question. Here's how I see it -

I like the collegiate feel of ATU and SEOSU's stadiums. HU has the best facilities as a whole. OBU's may change after they get turf, but I've seen WAY too many mud bowls on that field to be higher up. I love HSU and SWOSU's bowl stadiums. SAU, UAM, and SNU's stadiums are blah with no character to me. ECU's stadium is held together with ducktape. I haven't been to NWOSU in years, but the pictures I've seen from it make it look a lot better than it used to, so I threw it in the middle.

So just curious what is your reasoning putting SNU and OKBU above SAU? I understand we are entitled to all of our opinions, SAU has one of the best turfs and they just got a video board.

SAU has a small high school feel to it. Albeit, I have not been there since adding the video board. I like the newness of OKBU's stadium, and I flipped a coin on SAU and SNU. You could probably convince me that SAU should be higher than SNU. The more I think about SNU, I should probably put them last. They have nothing notable about the entire stadium.

So I'm making a change, even the ducktaped ECU stadium has more character than SNU. SNU is now last on my list. I will move SAU to 9.
