Well, that was not pretty at all - 3 games in a row where we looked bad - this is not good heading into the playoffs - since the Ferris game GV has looked like they were just going through the motions - we will need more next week to show something prior to the playoffs
3 games in a row that we won vs teams that are better that what we will face in the playoffs...first round anyways
that still does not excuse the fact that we have looked terrible - we make mental mistakes and barely squeak by - yes, winning is better then losing but there is no reason why Saggy was let back in the game or Ashland stayed in the game or Davenport was even close - now after the big game with xerris the davenport game was bound to be a let down no matter what but to have to come back in the last couple minutes to win, that shouldn't have happened - all the other conference top teams handled them easily - we need some adjustments mentally and offensively to move further in the playoffs in my opinion

Yeah, we need to not pass the ball 30 yards down field on every effing pass. Being successful at it late in the 4th quarter should not justify making the gamble with every pass the entire game. Over halfway through the 3rd, we had 28 pass yards. TWENTY EIGHT. We were incredibly fortunate the defense had that pick and that Moss broke a big run. Without those, we would have lost.
Oh well. Ugly win. Sometimes you get lucky. We had one big play from Chawntez, and a lucky interception inside the five that was returned in to Ashland territory. That was enough for the win. Grinded it out. Hopefully can get some guys back before the playoffs start. Dunham hasn't been playing, Paritee didn't play today, we're using essentially the entire backup defensive line.

Seems to me like the defense is down to 2nd and 3rd stringers on most the line and much of the secondary.. They just couldn't get off the field tonight. I don't know what was happening with the offense most of the game. Weird last few games.
Did they say on the broadcast why Paritee was out? I know he was injured (or sick) earlier this season.

that could be the case with the D but what about the O - we seem to try to throw the same passes to the deep sideline, back shoulder and not sure that is the best thing to do as much as we do it - we have a QB that can throw why not utilize that skill with more passes over the middle, slants, etc, maybe we will if we make it further - we will see
If this GV team continues to play like they have the last 3 weeks, they won't go anywhere in the playoffs. SSDD. Boring and Predictable offensively
So stop watching. All you've done for four years is come on here and complain after every single game lol. Just take a break until Mitchell leaves, since he seems to be your issue.

Not gonna expect it to change now. We've been running that offense for a decade. And we've been pretty successful with it. So we should probably just accept it and hope for the best going forward.
