That INT is exactly what I was talking about and the D has over committed to the run. This game is over, as is this rivalry, until MM and crew figure out how to maintain a balanced D against this team.

Yea, no, I'm good without watching the same Ferris/GV game for the 10th time in the last 12 games. It's the same thing every time they play. Same offenses, same defenses, same gameplans, same plays, same results.Originally posted by BillyGV View PostKle, you can watch both games - you can't walk on your team no matter how its going2021 D2Football Fantasy Champion

WHAT!!??! - penalties move us back giving them a short field for the 2nd score - complete missed assignment by the DB's for the 3rd score and a nice jump pass option for the latest score AFTER the interception - GV has given the game away just like the first game - shooting themselves in the foot as someone said before - that's not game plan, that's mental errors by playersOriginally posted by SoCal Laker View PostKle is right. MM is playing checkers while TA is playing chess. TA gives a simplified game plan to GV in the regular season and lulls us into a sense of knowledge, then when we stack the box he unloads the next game. Over...and over...and over..

But what is leading to the scores? Stacking the box and two or times a wide open receiver streaking open because you either have your safeties also spying or they are really bad (I'm guessing they are not naturally really bad).Originally posted by BillyGV View Post

You don't think it's a coincidence that every time these two teams play, it's ALWAYS GV's mistakes that are the difference? Come on. Ferris made a billion mistakes in the regular season, including two of their own bad snaps that killed drives, and they still won. The difference is GV needs to play perfect for virtually every snap of the game to even have a chance at winning. Ferris can play a C- game and still win unless GV plays an A+ game. That's the problem. We are to Ferris what Saginaw is to GV.Originally posted by BillyGV View Post

no matter if the are spying, their first assignment is the pass and they blew it - just like this play, Peterson has tons of room to run the ball but he throws it deep and it gets intercepted - not taking whats there, just forcing it - that is a Peterson problemOriginally posted by SoCal Laker View Post

But that's the offensive gameplan. It has been that way for a decade. The offensive gameplan is to always throw jump balls deep. We can't do it against Ferris because Ferris has better athletes at DB than we have at WR. GV gets away with it against everyone else because we have better athletes. But when it comes to Ferris, we are out-matched and we need to do something different and we don't. We always think that as long as WE execute, we will win, because we're better. We're not. We have to outscheme them, and we aren't able to.Originally posted by BillyGV View Post

ferris always makes mistakes, thats what they do - GV can't do that - ferris has had the best athlete on the field the past 6, 7 years just as they do today - GV has to play a solid game, not perfect but solid to win and they haven't - not sure what you can do when athletes beat you - give the scum dogs some creditOriginally posted by KleShreen View Post
