So the end of the regular season is upon us. I wonder how many picks would be changed with what we know now about the GLIAC.

Wayne State vs Ferris State From what I saw last Saturday, I don't know how the Warriors throttled NMU so easily. I do know why FSU will easily throttle Wayne.

Davenport vs Grand Valley For some reason I thought DU were the Knights.. shame on me. Ok, so the PANTHERS have their season on the line Saturday. It won't matter who will start at QB for DU. I'm lookin at the Laker's Dline matchup with DU's Oline. And let's see how good DU's D is against the highest scoring team in D2. This should be a pretty good measuring stick to see how good GV is this late in the season. Don't expect a let down from the Lakers. They appear to be a focused machine with all cylinders running. Hats off to the players and staff for melding things together - both under a FIRST year head coach. Oh yeah, Lakers with the BIG W on this Veteran's Day weekend game.

Saginaw Valley vs Michigan Tech Hey a toss up game! Looks like the weather SHOULD cooperate, so scrap that factor. Will Saggy start a freshman QB? He could be the difference. The Huskies are solid though. I wonder if that last drive loss to DU energizes or deflates the birds. I'm thinking more of a bit of deflation. MTU wins with an entertaining game.

Northern State vs Northern Michigan Could a NMU win boost GV to a #1 seed? (SOS) I don't think we'll have the chance to find out. Northern wins.. (oh wait) Northern STATE wins. I'd love to see NMU in an upset though.
