One of the most unusual plays in the series was in St Joe years ago. It was right at the end of a close game and MoWest attempted an onside kick. It bounced right to a NW player who ran it back for a TD to salt the game away.
its the only time I’ve seen that happen at any level

I saw it happen to Ellsworth Comm. College in the RC Cola Bowl in the Uni-Dome in 1986. I think we we up 55-7 at the time and that made it 62-7.

        Me too.

One year in St. Joe when Pitt was playing lightening struck the score board. I think that was mid 90's?

I watched Bobby Bell return an onside kick against the Denver Broncos in the late 60's/early 70's at Municipal Stadium. He was an athlete!!

Yeah that was 97, 98, somewhere in there. That was a big boom.

                Just looked at team stats.....

NW is only allowing 68 rushing yards per game. Jeez

I hope our passing game is developed enough that if our rushing is shut down we can stay in the game.

Yeah. That will be the fun thing to watch for.

Historically, NW has been good against the run. However, that stat might be a bit misleading looking at the competition they've played so far. UCM is the best team we've played to date and gave up 156. If you're MW and that is your bread and butter this year, you don't go away from it based on some stat. MW still tries to run it down our throat today.

Good grief ... is this common with MW? Honestly and fortunately haven't had to deal with this issue in over a few years.

That concerns me when you say "again". Why do I pay for these games?

Wouldn’t expect anything less from a JuCo!
