So far all of the analysis, predictions and mudslinging by Mules and Bison fans has been on the GAG, GAC or whatever site. Time to bring it over to the MIAA site.
Always fun watching someone new play Harding. You know exactly what they're going to do, it's just whether or not you have the players and discipline to stop it. They always play great defense too.
Clearly they haven't seen an air attack like UCM either, but if they won't matter if they're stuck on the sideline. Should be a very interesting game.

All this talk about Harding's run offense controlling the game and keeping the Mules offense on the sideline. Last week the talk was about Henderson's pass rush getting to the QB (35-0 Mules in the first quarter) You think the Mules can't control the clock with their passing attack. I think the Mules defense will adjust better to the Bison running attack than the Bison defense will adjust to the Mules Air Raid Offense. When the Mules get up by two touchdowns, and they will, what does Harding do then. The Mules passing attack can play with a lead or from behind. Harding is totally screwed if they have to play from behind.
With NW sitting at home I’d love to see Josh finally get a ring.
It should help the Mules defense if the new rules mean you’re not risking a season ending knee injury each time you try to defend against their option.

I saw somewhere Sat. after the Mules win, a Harding fan talking about the chance of rain slowing down UCM. If a long-range forecast is what you're banking on...good luck with that.

And next week it will be snow showers and 40* in Michigan, bring it, we play in crappy weather in Missouri. The Mules Air Raid Offense will be fine as long as it isn't like the below zero ice bowl game that NW played in Duluth. Right, Bearcat fans...lol.
It is. It's also interesting to see people not truly comprehend how things are different against a running team like Harding than a different running team like Ouachita.
One thing UCM has going for it is a DC who I think is familiar defending that scheme.

Eh. Even down 2 touchdowns, unless it's late in the 4th, flexbone can break a big play just as fast as a deep pass.
UCM will certainly score points and can win. I am very much looking forward to seeing what gives between the (#1 passing/#1 total offense/#3 scoring) Mules and the (#1 rushing/#1 scoring/#1 total defense/#2 scoring defense) Bison. Statistically, the best team Harding has probably ever had. Time to see whether it will translate to playoffs for once.
One thing Harding has going for itself is, they have been here before. UCM hasn’t. (staff and players) That carries some benefit to it.
Also if HU gets up doesn’t mean they have a big advantage. In 2014 HU got up on us 21-0. It was tied at half. Then we put up a 17-0 3rd quarter and the game was over. Harding has historically had trouble with defending the pass against top teams.

Should be a fun game.
Pretty sure that was OBU and a pistol triple, not harding and the bone.
