IMO the wheels have been coming off for a few years...from what I've heard from friends with kids in the program is he's been destroying the culture for pretty much his entire time as HC...he's had a slow decline in the first few years and it has accelerated last year and this year.
I'd think if NW doesn't make a strong run at AD it would show NW's new leadership is lacking.

Curious, did the "friends with kids in the program" have kids in the program under AD to actually have some sort of frame of reference to compare it to? Parents ***** about everything, this isn't HS where the parents are right there and know a lot more about the team. Everyone else knows everything when it's not working.
The examples I was hearing made it rather easy to identify the differences.

Assume you were in say AD's shoes and people you know are asking about what you will or won't do...would you be 100% sure they won't come to a place like this message board or even out in public and spill the beans on what you'd really like to do? Is there any chance you might tell them something other than the full truth because you don't want it to get out?

IF UCO is planning on taking the leap to D1 relatively soon, I would think AD would want to stay on for that move and use it as a reason to continue to climb

I would think Bradley's seat might be getting warm, and I hate that because it seems like he's a great guy and doing it the right way.

I imagine if Brian Wright had that kind of resume, or if TA has that kind of resume, we would be wanting him to be let go... He may be doing it the right way, but for whatever reason, it isn't working... I just don't know what it will take to get that program to be decent.

He’s young has been a pillar of the program as a player and coach. Probably mix up the staff some when he takes over. They have done well in Topeka but have no presence in KC recruiting. Schurig was loyal to staff and player coaches to a fault. He also hired his son to two major position groups with no experience. Time to bring in fresh guys
