Jake, you the man!!! I do enjoy reading your posts."

By my calculation, any thrown ball that hits the receiver in both hands is an accurate pass. High, low, left. right, if it hit both your hands is was accurate. The kid is close. Honest. Was your favorite post of mine last august when I called our Natty? Or was there another you liked.
Not even close. You predicted a National Championship and it happened. You were tormented for saying that. But, as Confucius says he who laughs last laughs the loudest!

Maybe a good way to think of it is how at one point Mines threw a pass that was too high for Oliver to catch cleanly. Then both Oliver and the QB adjusted just a tad to help them score on Pueblo, and take the lead. Does putting it in those terms help?

Also, is a pass accurate if it's overthrown? :bulgy-eyes:
That was more to do with ENMU fumbling, etc than S&t. Commerce D >>>>>better thsn S&T.

Against S&T ENMU timming was off, very off rythum. Against Commerce, ENMU was running but the holes were way smaller and back side pursuit got there before our backs got to the second level.
I have fat thumbs sorry for typos!

CSU Pueblo's defense is going to be their strength in this game by a long shot. Unfortunately, CSU Pueblo's coaching staff doesn't know what to do with the best offensive weapons they've had since they won the big one. They have three outstanding running backs, at least four great receivers (included John Todd who transferred from Humboldt), but they are trying to run a spread office, when they really need to switch to the play action.

The problem is at quarterback. They have one (AJ Thompson) that can run really well, but he can't hit the side of a barn and loses his concentration under pressure. The other one (Edwards) can pass, but he's lining up in the shot gun to run the pistol and he's expected to play like Colin Kaepernick, Robert Griffin III or Cam Newton, but he moves like Peyton Manning. They do have an underclassman (Gunnar Lamphere) that's redshirting and he can both run really well and pass really well, but Wristen is looking at him as an investment.

I don't care what it has to do with, ENMU isn't exactly the team that we had all become accustomed to.

Anyone when speaking of football refers to an overthrown pass as one that was over the receiver, as in not catchable.

As far as using Pueblo against Mines as an example, I have no idea, didn't watch the game. I don't think you're going to accomplish what your ego is hoping to with that comparison.

Thanks, I'll be out in Oklahoma. Might need some luck depending on the humidity. Not something I deal with much. Sorry your football lingo was so humorous. Perhaps it was overthrown and I couldn't quite catch it?

My "football lingo?" lol. If a pass hits both your hands you should catch it, even if it is higher than your head. We didnt last week. Not terribly complex. Im about to dismiss you as a troll if thats all you got. Ive no doubt you didnt see a single play from our game last week.

WE ARE DOOMED! 90% chance of rain on Saturday! Pueblo is a dry weather team! With 7 fumbles in dry weather, I can just imagine what will happen when the ball is wet. It's gonna be a slip and slide game. Forget throwing the ball. Nobody will be able to hit the side of a barn even if it's wide open! Run and splash and fumble if the ball does not float away!

You can certainly be a DB but don't backpedal now. Your original statement was that the QB is accurate but overthrows his receivers. Overthrowing a receiver does not mean it hits both their hands. Also not terribly complex. I don't need to watch a single play of any team to understand what an overthrown pass is.

AH! Now I see! Dak Prescott and Sam Bradford are not accurate passers! Thanks for clearing that up!
