Nothing personal towards any teams, but Angelos JV games are over.....now they face the BIG KIDS.

I have a MAJOR concern with the running game. Angelo seems back to one dimensional. Pass, pass, pass. What happens if you take Ayo & Chism out of the game? They made up 280 of 400 yds of offense.

They better get two or even three dimensional on offense. RUNNING game HAS to take off this week. OC needs to be patient and STICK with running game, unless Angelo falls 14+ pts behind. Do not get into a scoring war with the top tier teams or you are done.

IF Angelo sticks to the ground often with a bit of smash mouth and the D plays well, I believe Angelo has a great chance vs MSU-Texas.

Good win of ASU but tough to tell how good we will be. Exited to see us in action against MSU. My biggest worry is our run game... we struggled heavily to get anything going against Kingsville.

I'm hopeful this may be a sign that we have a decent run defense. However, they're still allowing a few too many big runs during games, but not as many as last year. We also held Saggy to 2.1 Yds/Rush on 38 attempts. We need to improve on the pass defense and the biggest improvement needs to be on offense. We aren't going to win any games if wait until the 2nd half before we get a 1st down.
