While waiting on deli meat, a guy approached me, maskless with a toddler and asked me how much prosciutto I was buying - from about a foot.

I would like this to be over as much as anyone, but just hoping it will be won't cut it.
      EXACTLY!!

      Thank you for your post.

Hope is all we’ve got right now. COVID is just the latest addition to a long list of life’s risks. You’ll eventually catch it even with your mask on. Back to the salt mines.

Yawn. An empty comment, unable to actually respond to anything. Yes, many like me that actually care about the wellbeing of others. I can wear a mask if I need to go in public and I can maintain social distancing. I fail to see what rights of mine are taken away.

You should pay more attention to what Pops is saying. 100k+ dead Americans and growing. With the lack of care I've seen from people lately that number will continue to rapidly increase. All due to this entitled attitude. You mention family members in WWII, a time when the country came together and sacrificed, they didn't cry about rationing because they couldn't drive to go go get their haircut. How selfish and soft we've become. Oh well, as long as it's someone else losing family members, who cares?

Thank you Pops for your work during this time.

I guess as long as there is a Pied Piper for you to follow their propaganda you will be fine. It’s ok if some of us are adults and can make our own decisions and actually think for ourselves. Really, it’s ok.

Your family member comment is probably the most idiotic thing you are ever posted. You have eyes but you can’t see. You have ears but you cannot listen.

BTW, since you keep mentioning haircuts I’ll let you in on something. This lady I know is a hairdresser and has been out of work and has not gotten a stimulus check nor any unemployment. Her husband walked out on her and her kids some years ago and doesn’t pay child support. Add to that she is taking care of her sick mother who lives with her. It got real desperate for them sometimes eating once a day Thank God we have real leadership in Texas and the Governor allowed them to go back to work.

You see everyone doesn’t have the luxury of staying home and waiting out. For those who do I support them also.

Western NM and ENMU will be auto wins this year....

                          from the article

During a recent news conference, one of the top health officials in the governor’s Cabinet sounded a skeptical tone when asked specifically about high school and collegiate athletic events.

“I can’t answer when, but it is going to take some amazing creativity to figure out how to let those things to happen, contact sports in particular,” Human Services Secretary David Scrase said.

He also said New Mexico would likely need to have a 0.1 virus spread rate for large gatherings to be allowed to happen, citing the risk of disease outbreaks posed by such events.

The spread rate, which measures how many other people are infected by each individual who tests positive for COVID-19, had decreased in recent weeks but was at 1.09, late last week.

“I personally think that having large groups of people in a single location, particularly if they’re close together and yelling, screaming and singing, as often happens at collegiate football games … that’s dangerous,” Scrase said.

That sucks. Sounds like the UNM coach is still planning on a season.

I think he is just being optimistic, as are most coaches.

ENMU recently hired an assistant Men’s BBall Coach but has not allowed the Football program to fill their vacant Def. Coordinator position. If you read between the lines that sends a message that ENMU is not anticipating on playing football this season.
