Because the listings are not in ranked order. They are the top 10 teams in the region listed alphabetically.

The first ranking, these, are listed alphabetically. Starting next week they will be listed in rank order.

This is the first year they have done week #1 this way. Not sure why the even bothered if you aren’t going to rank them.

Glad you articulated and confirmed what I was telling everyone last week.

Kingsville has been walking that tight rope pulling out games late taking advantage of opponents mistakes.

I think we will get a better idea of who Kingsville is on the road against Central Washington.

You can't really judge an opponent against Angelo State since they are head and shoulders above all the LSC teams.
