CWU could put in Minot State for the SFU game lost.

    Why not Minot?

And Week 2 with Western Colorado.

I lived just outside New Haven for many years, and have been in Texas for 30 years now. Given the choice between Texas BBQ and New Haven pizza its the Pepe's white clam pie all day and its not even close. The best of Texas BBQ and Sallys tomato pie and Modern's sausage pie are in a dead heat for second.

Northeast 10 has done that for a few years with all the D1 defections.

Curious to see what other schools do with these open dates, especially the ones oater in the year.

Bemidji makes more sense from a regional perspective but I could handle a trip to New Haven.

    Just a random thought.

With Simon Fraser dropping football, this could open up opportunities for non conference games with the MIAA.

Line up the weeks and teams where Lincoln, Missouri and Simon Fraser were scheduled that same week.

Time to scramble for more games if its possible. Wonder if WT will try to get a FCS game, D2 games, bye week.

That will royally screw Central Washington and Western Oregon over if they are competitive for a playoff spot.

Sul Ross slides into that spot. Who else is coming to the LSC??

If a team can break away from the 6-5 mediocre muck then they will have a great shot behind Angelo for a second playoff spot.

I know their location does them no favors but scheduling the western RMAC teams would cut down on a lot of that travel.

Colorado Mesa would have been a good get but Kingsville got that game.

Ironically Central Washington campus is 250 miles closer to the Colorado Mesa campus than the Kingsville Campus is to Mesa.
    Agree.

Seems like last year was Angelo far ahead at top, then 6 teams basically equal in tbe middle, then 3 bottom dwellers WT, ENMU, SFU. I expect a more clear 3 tier this season. 3 top teams, 4 middle teams, 3 bottom teams.

They are in the same boat Kingsville was last year.
