Game 1 - gave up 5 runs in the 7th to lose 10-7
Game 2 - gave up 5 runs in the bottom of the 6th to lose 7-6
Game 3 - gave up 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th to lose 7-5

5 errors already, .187 batting average, .293 slugging, 7.00 ERA = long season

Not sure what's wrong with returning Freshman of the Year pitcher, but she has yet to make an appearance.

ERA dropped to 6.51, but only because the 6 errors led to 7 unearned runs.
96 errors last year, on pace for about 135 or so this year.

The Lady Buffs wrapped up the tournament today, winning both games by a combined score of 25-0. So, only 1 run given up in 6 games is pretty good. However the other teams were not very impressive.

Next week it's on to Chattanooga for another 6 game tournament.

There was also a tournament in Conroe, near me. I went up there 2 years in a row. The first one was WT's first appearance in the Houston area for softball. They haven't returned, but several LSC teams always play there.

Mansfield is SE of Fort Worth on 287. Midlothian is just to the south.

It's shocking that Tyler lost 3 games! Congrats to ASU.

They lost so much talent from last year. I think they will be good, but not as good as recent years.

Do you know the details? Did the transfer portal take them or were there a lot of graduations? I am not happy they stole 2 of our players, but I really like the infielder we took from them. However she is a senior.

Maybe all the talent lost convinced the coach to give it up too.

Yep that stretch of highway is where the DPS blow their loads pulling over peeps both directions from I-35 and I-45 that were used to driving 75mph for several hours.
