[WT_TKW]

WT’s season came to an end, losing to Tyler 5-1. Tyler only had one good inning, the 5th. Thanks to an error and a HBP, they scored all their runs. They were outhit by WT 7-5, but Tyler stood strong when the Lady Buffs had the bases loaded with no outs. Later Moreno made it to third TWICE but couldn’t score.

Congratulations to Tyler for having a great team. WT should also be proud of their season.

Mook meeds a quicker "hook" on Boyer. He has a tendency to place too much confidence in her. She sometimes gets roughed up early, like yesterday, but gets stronger as she goes along. Does Mook start Boyer again? I think I'd go with Boyer again and keep my fingers crossed.

I watched both games today. Mook made some bad pitching decisions, left the pitcher in too long in game one. Buffs seemed eratic and after each pitch the 3rd and first baseman approach the pitcher. These were first games I watched this year. Seems pitcher was really feeling the pressure. Game two was good for 3 innings then all the luck seem to go Tylers way. Obviously best team WT faced this year. Tylers pitcher from Hawaii was awesome hope to see a Texas team win the D2 series. Buffs had a great year lot of returning players.

Buffs definitely had a chance to win game 2 your right the HBP was a game changer and this game all the breaks seem to go Tylers way even the check swing call in the 7th. Anyway proud of Lady Buffs.. great year over all. Only 8 teams can make the series , very tough to do.

Darn right Buffs should of fixed up Kimbrough iconic stadium,,my Dad and I watched Mercury Morris, Duane Thomas and so many other greats play there. Dad was at the opening day of Stadium with WT opened with U of Arizona in 1959 or 60 . I always remember driving past Buffalo Bowl and seeing the white Buffalo when driving to Canyon. The new stadium was suppose to help the program and attendance. Hasnt done any of those.

CONGRATS to the WT Lady Buffs on a great season.

The 2025 Lady Buffs may be significantly better than the 2014 Lady Buffs. I mean they only have 2 losses!!! Feb 28th they lost to Tyler 8-9 and 4 days later to TWU 0-4. They have been stellar before and since.

2025 has a .960 win % vs .2014 .896 win %. However, until 2025 wins the natty I guess it's a moot point.

Unfortunately this WT team was very good but not the best ever.

okay l’ll go first. Had the claws not come out for our most successful and popular coach we’d be with Tarleton, Incarcerate Word and ACU now. No doubt in my mind

I watched about 80% of the games this year (all online even though we had season tickets). Another excellent season. Lady Buffs are still a top 5 team at season's end, IMO. A lot of young players, a Lott of returners. Tyler is a seasoned older team. Unlike WT, they have several senior starters. With their pitching, I'd bet they win another NC.

Didn’t you hear? Having a AAA high school stadium 5 minutes closer than one with great history and wonderful layout, including ample parking, is WAY more important to little bald managers than a top 10 football team, or moving on up. Think Dilbert.

Oh and GPA is also super important. I wonder what OJ’s GPA was? I’m sure that’s what got him into USC.

Yeah but I have a feeling that ACU might be coming back to the Southland begging for forgiveness like UTRGV, Lamar, and SFA have done. Tarleton might survive on their own given how the mother ship has taken them under their wing but I think its likely in their best interest that they return as well. I was surprised that SHSU was able to move up to FBS.
