That UCCS upset of Adams State opened the door for Western to make the RMAC finals which should help.
Adams, Pueblo, ENMU, and WT losing helps you cause.
Kingsville I would assume is around Western in the 11-12 range and they have the biggest upset so for with beating Tyler yesterday.
Looking at things at face value, it would probably be helpful if Black Hills State beats Mesa so its a Western/Black Hills State final matchup.

Looks like SFA passed over Tom Brown.

Well looks like both WT basketball teams get a second chance in the regionals.
Women: #6 WT (18-12) vs. #3 UT-Tyler (25-4)
Men: #7 WT (29-11) vs. #2 Colorado Mines (27-4)
Personally WT women are overseeded and probably could have made a case for Kingsville making the tournament over WT.
This also means get used to Prock for another year.

The results since he has been at WT have been way under the typical performance line. Allegedly a super nice guy, though. I predict it will be his last game at WT.

WT had their typical Q1 start. Offense was completely ineffective and were down 13-5 at the end of the quarter. To their credit, the coaches made some adjustments and WT’s offense woke up from Q2 on. Played good defense against a Tyler team who can light up the scoreboard with their shooting.
While I am not a fan of Coach Prock, turning this game around and beating a 3 seed with a 24-4 record (20-2 in LSC) is a noteworthy accomplishment.
Next up tomorrow will be the winner of LCU vs UCCS.

Were their injuries involved?
Great win by WT and good luck next round.
