Northern State at Concordia-St. Paul -- Looks to me like this might be a great game. CU probably the NSIC's most improved team so far through a half of season. I expect this to be close but I like the home team to score late and make it look bigger than the game really was. Competitive game with Bears winning 32-20

Upper Iowa at Minot State - The Peacocks were all the wage after a great win over Winona. What happened? I have no clue and it is safe to say that as per most years, you just never know what team will show up. They consistently win games you think they have no chance in and lose games you think are gimmes. Nothing would surprise me here. I see it snowed in Minot. Crazy. I see a close game but an Upper Iowa win 31-21

Wayne State at St. Cloud State - Wayne has qb problems which is too bad given they have one of the top 3 wide outs in the league. SCSU is not that good but benefits playing in the North. No chance they would see 7 wins if they played in the South but they will probably get there. Man I love watching Nate Rodgers. picking the upset here -- Cats win 27-24

Minnesota-Duluth at Augustana - UMD is good. Augie is decent but no match here as I just don't their Defense can stop them Dogs win 48 -17

Sioux Falls at Bemidji State - I think Bemidji is for real. So is USF. This is the game of the week and it is going to be one great game. Down to the wire Beavers win 27-24

Mary at Winona State - not close Warriors win 61-0


Minnesota State-Mankato at Minnesota State-Moorhead - not close Mavs win 56-7

Minnesota-Crookston at Southwest Minnesota State - not close - Mustangs win 52-10

Have a family reunion today (which I am excited about.) The only down side is that I won't be able to watch the live stream of the USF@Bemidji game. My schedule this weekend means I probably won't be able to catch the replay until late Sunday night or sometime on Monday. Part of me wants to not hear the score and watch the game without knowing the outcome, but given how long I'm going to wait to see it I just don't know if I can go that long without finding out.

In any event, go Cougars!
