Wow, he was a head coach last year. That's great experience and perspective coming into the program. Do we know why he left Dixie State, especially since they intend to move up to D1?

He was at Humboldt as the DC before going to Dixie. I have heard mixed opinions from athletes and parents at both places.

Wow, he was a head coach last year. That's great experience and perspective coming into the program. Do we know why he left Dixie State, especially since they intend to move up to D1?

He and his staff were let go. But no one knows or will say why.

From the things I read, issues with administration were a big reason why he was let go.

That has to be quite a drop in salary, I would think as HC the salary would be $90-100000, does anyone know what a coordinator in the NSIC makes? A position coach in the missouri valley is approx, $60-700000, position coaches in BCS conf. such as the MAC is $80-90000.

Some Head Coaches in the NSIC have been over 100k....but that 90-100k is probably more the norm, I'd guess. OC/DC about 50-60k..once again, throwing darts here.

Wages in southern Utah are pathetic, even at Dixie. I doubt he was close to the number you suggested.

Coach Weise signed an extention a year ago, around 110k
