With preseason stories coming out and the Jamestown news breaking, I figured it might be helpful to have a list of media that covers sports in the NSIC. Here's what I was able to find from across the conference. Some markets have a bit of overlap in television coverage, such as Aberdeen with Sioux Falls.

For Winona State, I would add KTTC out of Rochester. They are at every home game and usually do player/coach interviews during the week. Below is the Twitter handle for Julian Mitchell their main sports reporter. I don't recall the La Crosse stations covering them too much. If at all. https://twitter.com/j_mitchell25

Thanks for the list! One time I was at the Mav game in Moorhead and on the way home for the postgame all I could find was Concordia and the Bison. Nice to know where to find these on the dial.

Thanks for the additional suggestions, I've added those to the list. I wasn't sure about St. Paul, obviously there's the STrib and PiPress, plus the local stations but not sure if they cover Concordia much. Any idea if there's an outlet that covers them?

Yeah it's one of the tough parts of being in that market. Bison dominate (on Sundays the Forum usually runs three articles about the Saturday Bison game, two recaps and a column), and then Concordia and MSUM fight for leftover coverage room.

No. The Strib used to run a column on small-college football every week (and they still might, it's been a while since I looked) and that was about it. I doubt the Pioneer Press cares much more, but I'm not sure.

I also did a Google news search and the only real coverage I could find was when they made the NCAA finals in volleyball.

I think CSP has it rough for market share. Gophers, UST, and the MIAC, not to mention a strong contingent of Dakota school alumni living in the Twin Cities means they are the ones that get left behind. Both SDSU and NDSU have games booked in Minneapolis this year.

Bemidji State broadcasts all their games online at the Beaver Radio Network. They also have some weekly podcasts/streams.

Just a note, if you are looking for the actual radio broadcasts for Mary football, those are usually on 550 KFYR. 710 has NDSU games. (With UND on 1130). For basketball, 710 is where games are found.

It's too bad the NSIC doesn't put the audio links for each game on their conference schedule.
