We have at least two Minnesota States, so I tend to stick to Mankato State and Moorhead State. It's really all the same

no Mankato on their schedule. First thing that popped up to me. I mean, I get it. There will be a few teams in the other division you don’t play each year. I’ve just gotten accustomed to that being a top game yearly in the NSIC.

Along those lines, here's an interesting thought exercise....

Most people hate the idea of using your nonconference date on a conference opponent. But in situations like this, as a fan/media member, do you wish that the two teams would schedule the game in the off year?

No. They can meet in the playoffs and it won’t be a rematch 🙂

I heard a crazy tidbit about how many consecutive years they have played each other, but I am getting old and can't remember the actual number.

I know it was strange to not have UMD on the schedule last year. With the north/south split, there will be more of these weird coincidences in the future.
