Tough schedule for USF. Lots of windshield time. At Black Hills, Bemidji, and Minot. . Also a 4 game stretch in week 2,3,4,5 . Bemidji, Duluth, Mankato and Augie . Will have a good idea how things shake out before the midpoint. I have never been to Spearfish. Lots to do and see?

Any idea on their retention? They should/will be a top 2 team this year, IMO.

Not bad. Lost a couple of good players to SDSU but overall things look pretty good. Coaches have done a great job with the culture and making it a situation that kids want to stick around. But who knows , assume there will be some more movement after spring ball? With all of the FCS coaching moves I think it has been a tough year for alot of the D2 teams in the area .

Spearfish Canyon is a fun drive.

You should check out Spearfish Canyon if you go as it’s a scenic drive in the northern Black Hills.

Years ago I visited the fish hatchery in Spearfish. That was interesting. I'm not sure if it's still around or not.

Deadwood is about 20 minutes from Spearfish. Plenty to do and see there.

Sioux Falls to Spearfish nothing compared to going from anywhere to Minot.

I assume that is a home game again for UMD with MSU? Do you have dates on this?

Yes it is a home game and is also Duluth's military game so it will have the biggest crowd of the year. Believe the game is on 9/13.

Thanks- I'm impatiently waiting for the Mavs schedule- it seems like they are the last one every year. 9/13 would fit one of the holes in what I have found out from other schools. The last time I was at a military game they had a flyover- it was a night game, nice weather, a large crowd and a Bulldog win.

Yeah they will do a flyover for sure. My guess is it will be a 1:00 game as they usually push back the start time because of all the festivities. Let's just hope for good weather and a good game. Dogs have had their number the last couple years so I'm worried about getting 3 in a row.

Since each NSIC team is only scheduled for 10 conference games, it would then seem the Bulldogs are playing an NSIC team as a non-conference matchup as well..since there’s 11 games listed here. Do we know which one is the non-con game? Thx.

Deductive reasoning and other schedules has it narrowed down to Winona. But I could be missing something.
