How is Duluth not hosting a game? Travesty.

At least they let Kato in - on the tougher side of the bracket as well. 🙄

Well, I hope Mankato‘s offensive and defensive game plan are a little bit better. Fun 11 hour road trip!!!

We'll see if Northwood and Truman State actually look like they belong. I have a feeling they'd be middle of the pack at best in the NSIC

One thing is certain, the National qualifying procedure for D2 football certainly brings a lot of questions to the table.

NSIC has 8 good teams, but zero dominant teams. It is always going to be tough for anybody to get through the conference without 2 or 3 losses.

Top teams in the NSIC need to do everything they can to schedule their noncon games against the top of the GMAC and GLVC. Probably not real beneficial to schedule Ferris or GVSU out of the GLIAC though.

Yes. Truman only has two losses per the criteria because they played an FCS school in week 2.

Time for the NCAA to spend the money and just seed everyone 1-32 and play it out nationwide

Truman only has two D2 losses and has a higher SOS.

I’m not as privy to all the metrics as some of you are but looking at it face value I don’t comprehend how Mankato with two losses to non playoff teams makes it in over UIU who’s two D2 losses were to playoff teams. Either way I am very happy with the success the Peacocks had this year and very proud of them. I believe we get an opportunity at the Americas Crossroads Bowl presumably against Tiffin.

Thunder is correct, SOS Is difficult to quantify without common opponents. Mileage of 600 to 800 plus miles to GLIAC-GMAC schools is the problem.
