That is crazy, booted out of a very conservative, deeply religious, southern private college, because he is gay! I wondered why he left Harding so abruptly. Happy he found a home at Kato. He did so well at BSU, maybe he should have stayed there.
It is 100% on brand. Absolute BS. Harding and their people/fans are trash. They just keep
proving it.

Ah yes, the classic tale of someone living an open, anti-Christian lifestyle ... and choosing to go to a private, very-Christian school. Then being surprised when the school upholds it's standards.
He might wanna make his decision sooner than later..considering all the D1 guys who will be thrown into the pool in 48-72 hours.
I thought it was odd he was taking this long. Also surprised I haven't seen SDSU come through on him, kinda figured that was a potential landing spot when he went in.

Ah yes, the classic blame the victim. I guess there are still plenty of people that live their life by that fan fiction book. An ironically hateful group

I know nothing about Harding or their fans but a Christain school gets to enforce its own rules regarding religous policies. No diffferent than BYU for years. No different than a Catholic School requiring players to go to Mass before games.
Why did he go there if this was the case? Was Harding expected to make an exception for him? No. It seems to have worked out for both parties here. Harding got their way. He was able to transfer and play.
Big Mo Diawara in the transfer portal. Big loss for USF.
Another USF player gets in the portal also..confirmed on Caden's twitter feed a day later.
Sioux Falls OL Caden Maas plans to enter the transfer portal, per his rep @CodySokol of @3XLSports
The 6-5 305 RS sophomore has started 22 games at the D2 level and 2 more years of eligibility.
We are seeing more and more of this activity in D2..and the NSIC..where agents will try and lure players into the portal because they are good enough that the agent has done the legwork to know that there's $50,000, $75,000, $100,000 that a certain school would offer them on the other side. Some will jump or the money might get good enough that the player feels that cannot just ignore it. Sometimes it's an FCS school, or maybe a G5, or maybe an Iowa State (who has a lot of local ties). At the moment nobody at the NCAA is really watching this activity and it's the wild west. Most NSIC schools have very little NIL to give these guys..so it's hard to compete with the offers if the player is receptive to them.
This same activity occurred with Ferris State last spring when they thought they were sitting pretty good..only to find they had 10 guys lured into the portal. Some were headed to the SEC (Trinidad Chambliss) or Big 10..others to directional schools in G5, etc. Some become starters..others get some nice $$ and become a depth guy. While this might be a newer topic here on the forum, coaches in D2 and elsewhere and dealing with this right now and it's becoming more pronounced year-to-year.
