Correct. And one of the best, if not the best, D2 national championship to watch. They were in at till the end going against an undefeated team and against one of the best small college coaches of all time.

Funny thing, WL was never out of that game but certain individuals couldn’t handle the pressure. Bryce Butler is a class act!

Butler was tough as nails. Played his a$$ off. He has always been a player. West Liberty had a heck of a season.

But that flagrant 2 and the two technicals came back to haunt them at the end. I don't agree with them calling the one Flagrant 1.

Hats off to Crutchfield. Guy is just at another level in Division 2. He has been since he took over in year 1 at West Liberty.
