Those 9 TOs in first half yesterday ... 8 were self-inflicted.

The positive is Armoni is more than ready to play heavy minutes.

Chucky also gets a boost and perhaps moves in to a true hybrid G/F role. This will change Marko's minutes, too. That may actually be Chucky's most valuable role.

Bearer is a huge loss, though. Being almost mid-Jan ... probably done. Broken thumbs take time. He was great at all the stuff most don't see.

You'd have to assume that happened in practice Monday or Tuesday so they didn't have much time to get used to the fact he wouldn't be there gameplan-wise.

Dansecs is going to have to play some -- ready or not.

No team goes a full season injury-free. Just gotta move on and regroup. Some more live action will help Dansecs.

As IUPAlum said, Malik has been prone to fouling. That has to scale back.

If you're garbage collector is leading the team in points every night, perhaps you should do a few more shooting drills in practice. ; )

They only have one set play they run to him ... and everybody has seen it on film 375 times already. All great teams have a garbage man. Somebody has to clean up the mess left behind.

needs to work on his foul shooting though. but I agree, his play this year a big part of the success. compare this years team to the 2014/15 team with Daddy, and Hanner Hope they can keep it going.

If I knew my right and left. He's on the far *left.*

Regardless, he's the glue guy and knows his role. That's a piece IUP hasn't had in a few seasons.

Defensively they didn't guard the 3 point like usual and it killed them. #5 for Hurst looked like the old guy from the YMCA game but he sure could spot shoot (they took that away from him in the second half).

Second half IUP tightened up the defense and shot better.

    * Losing Bearer is tough. Dancses isn't ready defensively and that showed tonight.
    * Chucky's a tweener as far as guard/forward and makes it hard to where he fits in. He played as good as he could have in his role tonight.
    * Malik can't get in foul touble without Bearer around. He got away with a trip minutes into the game tonight right in front of me. (It was dirty)
    * The team has grit and won't ever be out of a game!

Sounds like Chucky just got a promotion. He's ready. Wherever it may be.
