I wouldn't dare try to speak for all of the NSIC fans on the board, but personally I'm kind of at the point where, until someone from the NSIC proves that something besides culture wins, I'm willing to accept the Bearcats' premise.

He has zero offensive game outside of the restricted area so his looks will have to be created by someone else. Defensively I'm sure he'll block some shots but again he won't be more athletic than 99% of his opponents. All of this assumes he can stay out of foul trouble, something he struggled with constantly at the D2 level, and not alienate refs with extremely large egos.

Avereages of 9pts and 4 reb per game are best case scenario to me. The jump from NSIC to B1G can not be over stated.

But again it will be hilarious to watch him try and prove the hAtERz wrong.
I would say though that the Big Ten isn't exactly a crazy athletic league, at least in comparison to other big conferences. He won't be a star, but I don't think he'll be labeled unathletic in the league.

Out of curiousity, how many NSIC men's basketball teams have the full compliment of schlolarships allotted by the NCAA for div. ?

I'd assume most if not all...

Fox will be as athletic or more athletic than many big 10 players.

Not saying it was you in particular but there have been a number of NSIC posters on this board that have mocked the #CultureWins hashtag over the years so it felt appropriate in this moment.

Oh, I have too. Just saying I'll probably stop mocking until one of us manages to prove that something besides culture wins.

But what if they do it with culture too?

It may take on a new meaning with all the transferring going on. Haha

Was kind of hoping he would land at Texas Tech to see him and Cam Martin mix it up in the Big 12.

I get that the optics of asking this question are going to look bad because I'm a fan and graduate of a private school that I'm sure everyone assumes the students of all come from wealthy backgrounds (spoiler alert, we aren't all rich) but, honestly, why hasn't SMSU figured out a way to get more scholarship funding? Men's basketball is clearly one of their most successful sports other than volleyball (to the best of my understanding), so why is it that they can't get alums to put some money towards fully scholarshiping at least the basketball programs?
