Interesting that all the games were won by double digits, I thought they'd be much closer.

Think Upper Iowa just wrapped up NSIC 4th rep to NCAA Central Regional barring an upset in MIAA or GAC Tournaments.

Mankato ground the pace to a crawl but their lack of shooting did them in again. Just when I thought Upper Iowa was going to give the game away they played their best five minutes of the night.

Watched the last 15 minutes or so. Does Mankato actually run an offense? I can't tell if I just wasn't seeing it or if the general plan is just "Hope Fuqua finishes when he attempts to score."

Win and advance - one more to go! Great run thus far! Peacocks played outstanding D down the stretch!

MSU needed Witthus to get more points than fouls tonight. It didn't happen and the season is over without a regional bid. Disappointed despite passing the twenty win mark.

Agreed. Very disappointing season. Witthus was hurt or bothered by injury all but four games this year and his play reflected that. Time to look forward to next year. Hopefully missing the regional this year will recharge the team for next year.

SW Minnesota looking good early on vs Augie, u0 19-14 with 10:10 left in the first half.

With that being one of the worst halves of basketball the Vikings have played in their recent 10 or 11-game stretch, I am encouraged by the fact that we're only down 4 and Huisken has been on the bench since the 15:00 mark of the first half.

My guess is that the Vikings will get some encouragement at halftime and come out a little more ready to go in the second half.

Looks like a good crowd from what I can tell on the internet feed.

SMSU up 4 at the half behind an exotic defensive attack that helped create 10 Augie turnovers and several transition layups. Augie needs Jordan Spencer to get involved on both ends of the floor, he's been lackadaisical on defense and throwing the ball away on offense. Getting Huisken back from foul trouble and the inevitable Mustang cool off should help fuel the comeback.

This second half has been a Tom Billeter masterpiece
