I do not think this will change W/L but OVU best player has only played two games. They now have maybe three guys that could make Salem's roster.

KWC is starting to mesh as a unit, something they were not in November and December. The bigs are playing OK, but the guards are going to be the ones who take this team far in the tournament. I would like to see Happy employ more pressure in the half court, we will need to in the tournament. But it's hard to complain about a 40 point win. Unless it's a USI fan.

No complaints here. It could have been worse for Ohio valley. I thought Happy pulled back some in the second half.

In the second half Happy just ran things that they needed to sharpen up. He called several time outs just to go over how the play should be run. He also wanted Mike and Josh to get time and points. Many of the passes to Mike well poorly thrown and he turned over the ball. Lindsey showed how well he is going to be able to handle G-MAC teams. Bosley tweaked his ankle the second play of the game and iced it much of the second half. Josh played a very food floor game and rebounded very well. Several of his fouls were crap calls.

Wesleyan now has a deep ten man rotation, and they all play. Michael Vigilance picked up four fouls and played less than ten minutes at ovu. If Happy would have played him two more minutes, he probably would have had a double - double.

Our guards are outstanding, but the inside players are close to being the best class since Harper's tenure.

Harris is coming along as ordered. He could be a real game changer in the post season. He is lightening fast at the d2 level, and wants to always play that way.

I think this team will be extremely prepared for cedarville.

Ken-jah Bosley and Jordan Jacks just went through the motions at ovu. They will up their game tomorrow.

We don't need a 10 man rotation when tournament time gets here, just 8 and possibly 9. I think the two bigs, 3 forwards, 3 guards are the rotation come tournament time.

If you've got 10 guys that can come in and play minutes with no drop off in production, why would you not want that??

I didn't say I don't want it. Typically in the tournaments the coaches become control freaks and slow the tempo down to almost nothing, meaning you don't need as many subs and can keep your best 6-7 players on the floor for more minutes. The 9 and 10 guys are depth come tournament time. If all the teams played up tempo like KWC tries, then 10 would be a good rotation. But you see some of these coaches slow the game down to a snail pace in the NCAA.

I think there is a movement in college basketball now to speed the game up. Basketball can only evolve so much. You may as well make the game as fun and athletic as possible. That's what both the fans and the players want.

Ask any d2 coach if they would like to have 13 full scholarships instead of ten. Their answer would certainly be affirmative. Quality depth is a must if you want to field a good basketball team.

This guy needs to follow rhythmic gymnastics instead of hoops.

I'm really disappointed in the teams in the GMAC. After 3 years you would think they would be getting better, but they are getting worse! Even AB apparently is down this year. I know they are adding better teams next year, but why aren't any these teams getting better, it's embarrassing for the conference. The biggest impact for KWC is the fact we are playing inferior competition within conference, night in and night out. Obviously it means a lower seeding, plus in the tournament, if you make it, the first team you play is going to be far superior than the second best team in the GMAC. Every team in the conference we play, I read in the paper they are rebuilding, and or experiencing a tough year. Do these school excell in any D2 sports?? As much as I like to think we can, we will not make a run in the big tournament until our conference becomes stronger! Does anyone agree??

Coming from a screwball USI fan who other USI fans are dissing on this board, have you dug to Austrailia yet? Your "my team is 14-0 and ranked but not good enough" routine is getting old even for USI fans. Stay over there.

You need to calm down and realize the GMAC is adding very good schools for the upcoming seasons from the GLIAC. KWC is very good, not their fault some of the other teams this year are having down years. Cedarville is still a team to watch out for. Now next year the GMAC will surpass lots of other leagues with the additions we will have. I do not agree that KWC can't make a run this season, one of their losses is a close loss at USI who is the top team in the region. KWC was not at full strength in that game, they will be if they meet again in the NCAA. I don't care if the regional is in the PAC which it appears it likely will be, I think KWC has improved vastly since the small college classic and will be able to come out on top if they meet USI again. My concern is the regional committee and how they will seed KWC. After seeing the way they treated KWC last season, I am afraid they might pull the same thing this year even if KWC wins out. IMO KWC should be a 2-3 seed if they win out, but I am fearing a 6-7 seed. Thats not right. Sooner or later you have to use the eye test if you are on the regional committee.
