If Hall and Watson seriously thought they had a team that could make a deep run into the NCAA-DII post-season 24 games into this year, then look no further for the problem. Watson's problem is he thinks he has to go find tough guys, and that's partially true, but the bigger issue is that you'll never have a mentally tough team with a coach who doesn't hold anyone accountable.

Truman may be contenders but IMBO, if Hankins is gone, then based on what teams are returning (don't know about jucos and D1 transfers yet) BU has to be the solid favorite next year. I still like them if Hankins was coming back since Ferris lost quite a bit of their other players but I could see the objective choice would be Ferris. Now as I said I don't know what jucos and D1 transfers are coming into the region and that is usually a big consideration.

What about Hankins? Why would he not be back?

Just a rumor from the first page of thread which stated he was going to Xavier. Just a rumor and I really don't think much of it but you never know.

Ashland picked up a nice transfer over the weekend in Derek Koch from Bowling Green. 6'9 forward started 28 games as a freshman for the Falcons last year.

Indy would be another team returning quite a bit of talent, plus getting back a very good player who was out the whole season. Probably a team to watch.

Just saw a Tweet saying this is official ... Hankins will play at Xavier next season as a grad transfer.
