    Well said

I do believe Michigan will get their act together and schools will draw better students and 4 year players.

If Ashland wants to come aboard, I am certainly for it. If not then so be it. Either way I just want to beat their arses. If they come aboard because they would be a top team in various sports, I would want to beat them. if not, I am sure UF will still schedule them in most sports and I would want to beat them because they thumbed their nose at the GMAC

CU softball just took 3 of 4 from TNU. Both KWC and CU appear capable of competing with TNU this year. Hope one of us can keep them from a 5-peat.

...and in baseball, Malone just split its 4-game series in Nashville.

That's exactly where I'm at. The G-MAC doesn't need another OH school. If they were any other OH school, I'd say don't add them. However, given the strength of their athletic dept, they would undeniably make the conference better.

Something like UIndy/BU, Marion/+1, or a WV add is really more "needed"

Ashland. After reading about how great they are I could not care any less if they join. If they do great if they don't, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

UINDY/BU- would love both but I am afraid they are the longest of shots right now. Perhaps in a few years but not now. Hope I am wrong.

Marian- I have heard nothing here in the Indy area about a move. For right now I think they are perfectly happy in NAIA and want to focus on their new medical school. Just my thinking. I will say this, they do take on a lot of kids that have had problems at other schools and take a lot of iffy kids. Kinda think that is what NAIA is for but would that fit with the academic ideals in the GMAC?

Completely understood. However, I thought Hillsdale and UF were the longest of shots.

Solid point! Just when you think you know, you find out that you really do not know! I will be pleasantly surprised if they do jump aboard.

Does anyone know the status of G-MAC members? Either there is something up with some schools or the web site is messed up, out of date or just not complete.

I'm wondering if dues not paid keeps some off of the web site. If you do not know it is okay to guess. Need info of some kind.

Who do you see missing? They all are listed, as I'm looking at it....

I see all schools listed. However, they did have Walsh up with the current schools (instead of with the future schools). Maybe they are working on it. Remember - that's how I figured out the Mercyhurst and Seton Hill lacrosse adds several weeks before they made the announcement. So, keep your eyes peeled.

James Jeffries (-3) of Alderson Broaddus is leading the field after first round of the G-MAC golf championships - the only player under par.

On day 2, Kyle Alistair of Davis & Elkins edges Jeffries and wins G-MAC title by a single stroke.

TNU takes title again, followed by D&E. Happy that Cedarville finished 3rd - one spot ahead of Malone. Malone is currently 2nd place in Presidents' Cup standings, with CU trying to hold them off. CU needs to try to grab a final Presidents Cup for the trophy case before the new additions come in next year. I have to imagine that Findlay and Hillsdale will be the favorites next year.

BTW - Trevecca won the 2012-13 Presidents Cup, and has finished a strong second the last three years. They are currently in 6th place. They usually close really strong with a M Golf/W Golf/Baseball/Softball Spring push. However, I don't think they have ever been as low as 6th coming into that final push. Also, as mentioned earlier, they look vulnerable in both softball and baseball this year.
