Technically Cheyney was the last - they had grass until they cut all NCAA sports in the spring. Although technically I wouldn't have called that field grass. It resembled a hillside that a farmer has for goats to graze.

If you are having a buck thorn problem, get some goats. They do a great job of getting rid of those noxious trees.

There are no grass fields in the GMAC. However, Lake Erie's website lists a grass field. I've been to LEC for a game and to my knowledge, unless something changed in the last couple of years, they have an artificial surface.

Findlay still has that gorram hump in their field that really dips down in the corners. I keep saying somebody is going to twist something because of it. Not to mention that it looks goofy as all heck when you see it up close.

In the MEC, only WV State and WV Wesleyan have grass fields.
