Obviously, we trade off home and away with the south every other year, and home and away with the north every two years, so it would be a long wait to see my team at every stadium.

I might have to try to squeeze in an Augustana game this year.

Some of them are, I think CSU-Pueblo's is fairly new. Mankato's is older and nowadays is just used for football, no track or soccer.

I am not a huge fan of the dual-use facility. I can see why it's done, but it can inhibit the fan experience - the stands are so far from the field.

WSSU might have the most unique dual-use stadium-it held stock car races for many years.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but Saginaw Valley State has made some renovations in the last few years and their stadium looks really nice.

Never been there, but the pictures of Pitt State also look like a cool stadium

I stand corrected - They do use the old stadium in Marshall for football. I just happened to be driving by at the right time. Judging by the size of the players and the time of day, I'm thinking JV?

This must've been last Thursday late afternoon/evening? Marshall was hosting a section playoff soccer match that night, so the C-Squad (?) football game had to move to "Old Mattke."

I've never been there for a game, but I believe Upper Iowa's Harms-Eischeid Stadium is one of the more underrated settings in the NSIC.

I really enjoy the sight lines at stadiums without a track around the field. Realistically, for most schools schools in D2, it makes sense to have the track and football field together. It would cost a lot of money to have two separate "stadiums" for those sports. A lot of schools even have the dual purpose fields for football and soccer. If I remember correctly, most stadiums that have football stadiums without tracks, are not newer stadiums....?

In our case, we didn't have a track and field program when the stadium was built.

Speaking of picturesque settings, hard to get more picturesque than Lake Bemidji (the rest of the stadium needs help though)

One final note on USF - I think it should be mandatory that the team run into the field with this song blaring.
