He's definitely had one of the best careers of a D-II player ever. I wouldn't say he's in the discussion to be the best D-II player in the NFL right now, though, which is what Brandon was asking. He only plays about half of Baltimore's defensive snaps, if that, and has been moved from corner to safety because of his athleticism slowing him down lately.
OK, whatever. I guess one can't cut an old guy.. and Laker supporter ANY slack eh? I did say "bias" in my post. Sheesh.

Haha I love BC and think he's one of the two best players ever at GV. I'm just saying Brandon's post asked for best D-II players *right now* and I don't think he's anywhere in the discussion right now. He was a few years ago. By far he's had the best professional career of any D-II player in the NFL right now, though.

I wouldn't think it would be better than Vinatieri. He's had a great career though. Great rep of GVSU and D2.

Adam Thielen is playing at a high level, but looking at this list, he has a LONG way to go to be considered to be among the best D2 wide receivers let alone among the best D2 players to ever play in the NFL.
Brandon, it goes without saying, but you left the (HOF) off of Walter Payton. Also, John Randle and Larry Allen are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
