No idea why West Chester moved ahead of New Haven. New Haven was ahead of WCU last week with one less win, so that's not a reason. And New Haven's weighted OWP is still better than WCU's .453 to .428

I agree; but New Haven was #2 in the regional rankings, and if they lose to Post (who is undefeated) how much is New Haven going to drop maybe to 6 or 7 but can't see them being excluded

Now that New Haven is #4 I think a loss to Post can knock them out; that one less game is going to hurt them.


I would think Post, Kutztown and Slippery Rock all have to win to get in. Tiffin needs to win and have one of the three just mentioned to lose to get in.

Basically they are all at risk if they lose.

If they all lose - and it is wouldn't be outrageous to see #4 to #8 all lose, who knows how it might come out.

Way to avoid the question! To restate the questions with the second "o" firmly in place:

Would you choose 9-2 ODU or Fairmont over 8-1 New Haven??? How about a 10-1 Tiffin...Would you pick them over New Haven??

I wasn't avoiding the question, or pointing out your spelling error. I was referring to your second statement.

What I do find interesting is that 3 of the 4 undefeated teams in SR1 chose to play fewer than the maximum number of permitted games.

But to your question, 8-1 = .889 > 9-2 = .818

New haven has to win or sweat it out on Selection Sunday. It will be tough for a 8-1 team to be ahead of a 10-1 team. Post will still be in at 9-1.

They should be in trouble, 8-1 should get u nowhere. There schedule is a joke and to have 2 less chances to lose then everybody else should be a playoff killer. ODU was left out last year for only playing 10 games and they won there freaking League!! IUP beats Ship they deserve the bid, trust me there isn't a team in that top 10 that wants to play IUP in the first round, ask how it worked for Charleston and Fairmont...just sayin
