Also, the NDSU two deep has a FB, TE, and 2 Wr's. Bloom and Hurst could take some notes on how it can be done without running a spread O.
DT 53 Cole Karcz 6-4 271 Sr.
98 Matt Biegler 6-3 283 Jr..
NG 92 Jack Darnell 6-2 288 Sr.
94 Costner Ching 6-3 280 So.
Somebody should tell them you (cant) win with interior DL that small

Get way better players to run what they currently run. That's why it all the sudden stopped working.

First time I had heard of North Dakota State, they were playing Ship in the 1981 D2 national semifinals at Seth Grove Stadium and gave everyone a primer on how to run the triple-option. Their QB was pitching to the trail back 8, 10 yards past the line of scrimmage. I actually covered that game for the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
Incidentally, the Raiders' victory over Virginia Union the week prior was the PSAC's first victory in an NCAA football postseason game.
Today, for pure intensity, I'd rather watch an FCS playoff game at the Fargodome than any FBS bowl game short of the final four.Last edited by jrshooter; 12-19-2019, 05:04 PM.
