The GMAC has had good showings in the playoffs.
This year the one good crossover was ODU a 2 loss GMAC team lost close to Shepherd a 1 loss psac team.
Its a conference that should get in.

      Scenario: Bentley wins

      (7)Cal beats Bloomsburg

      (6)SRU loses to K'town

Would the committee put Cal at 9-1 over SRU who would be 9-2 and have a decisive win over Cal?????

In that scenario, I'd say they absolutely would. I'm really curious on how far Kutztown would drop if they lose and if they'd let Shepherd be a non conference champ #1 seed?

I wonder if the #8 team could jump to 6?

There have been top seeds that weren't the conference champ before.

In past years, the committee has tended not to punish the loser of the PSAC title game that much.

If Kutztown loses, it'll be an interesting call for the #1 spot, with Shepherd's SOS set to take a dive.

I agree with you. The GMAC tends to go Hannibal Lector on itself. BUT, it is hard to justify a 1-loss team staying home and a 3-loss team going to the dance.

Fairmont State backfired on Cal. Most years that would be a good non-conference game. This year it was just another sub-.500 team on the resume.

Everybody in the field has taken a loss. Cal had a cream puff schedule up until Oct. 23. Looks like they are going to pay the price for it. Imagine their SOS had they played Clarion. But, they also have one less win because of it.

I'm sure the committee is hoping for some wild a$$ upset this weekend to make its job much easier come Sunday night.

We tend not to see this much chaos in football. This is a yearly event on the basketball side. With many more games, the question always comes down to would you rather have wins against crappy non-conference teams (SOS anchors) or say, go 7-2 against a really high SOS-caliber non-conference schedule. The answer, by the way, seems to vary from year to year depending on the given committee.

Possible upset in NE10 as ASSUMPTION visits BENTLEY. The Greyhounds have been a hard team to figure. Opened at KUTZ lost 0-19 which as it turns out was not terrible for a first game. Flopped badly at home 28-40 to another playoff team, BENTLEY. Week 9 stayed within one score, 10-16, versus their third PO team, UNH. So otherwise 5-1 versus the rest. Certainly don't expect it but ruining someone else's PO plans has been known to be a strong motivation.
And playing a team for a second time can be tricky.

                    9. Charleston 1.26
                    10. Tiffin 1.258
                    OUT. Findlay 1.245

Guess ranking UC were they should be (#8) had the potential to upset the NCAA's desired results??

Frostburg would be ranked right around 4 or 5 which would kick Cal to #8 and Ship down to #9 thereby eliminating Earned Access for the either GMAC team.

                      When does Frostburg's probation expire?

Pretty sure they are good to go next year. Unless they aren't counting the covid year in 2020, which would be BS.

Its for the entire athletic department, so maybe it depends on what other Frostburg teams did last year?

Your calculation isn't factoring in "Results over .500" which, for better or for worse, D2's Performance Indicator appears to be weighing. Charleston only has 1 win over a team over .500, while Tiffin and Findlay both have 2. This is also why Stonehill is nowhere to be found after their brief appearance.

I don't know....so far Bobcat fans seem a bit weak at whining !! Work on it if you really want your team to stand out in SR1.
