California at Millersville (+24.5) - Ville doesn't look half bad, don't see them covering though, probably a 4 score game, 2nd half will be a beating

Shippensburg at West Virginia Wesleyan (+14.5) - WVW beating Post into the ground hasn't changed my perspective of the program. Even a scuffling Ship should have the upper hand.

California at Millersville (+24.5) - No win for the Marauders in Lancaster, but Folmar's bunch shows a little offensive punch late to cover.

Clarion (+17.5) at Kutztown - Clarion will probably score some TDs. Can they stop the Golden Bears from scoring even more?

Gannon (+10.5) at Shepherd - 13-14 points (or two TDs) counts as beating the spread here. Call it 31-17 or so.

Seton Hill at Lackawanna (+7.5) - Surely Seton Hill won't follow up the West Liberty letdown by gacking up a game against a team transitioning from JUCO, right?

Edinboro at Bloomsburg - Fightin' Scotts have an edge at QB, gives them the leg up in a close crossover.

IUP at West Chester (+7.5) - Last week I jokingly suggested that Duke Greco was on fraud watch. The aluminum Rams performance against Lincoln has me wondering if I was unintentionally on to something.

Slippery Rock at East Stroudsburg (+7.5) - Rock got gashed by UMD, and the Warriors love to run the ball, so it could be a nailbiter for the visitors. I do like Rock to win, but expect it to come down to another late drive by their offense.

Edward Waters (+3.5) at Miles - I'm not even going to pretend to have any analysis or observations on this one.

Roosevelt (+2.5) at Southwest Baptist - See above

Ohio State (+1.5) at Texas - Even an ugly or narrow win gets the job done here. I'm a little surprised we got such a small line, instead of leaving it as a straight pick like BU-EU (these two teams are exactly like Bloomsburg and Edinboro).

Washington & Lee (+13.5) at Gettysburg - Two generals = two TD victory. Simple.

McDaniel College (+24.5) at Salisbury - McDaniel stinks and Salisbury is a fringe playoff contender at a level of football where "stinks" and "fringe playoff contender" are much farther apart than even our own.

Falcons (+3.5) at Steelers - The Falcons might be calling on you or I at QB this weekend between Penix's injury recovery, and Tua's pre-season performance and own injury history.

California at Millersville (+24.5) - Cal looked really good in the opener, I have them as the early favorite in the west

Clarion (+17.5) at Kutztown - been looking forward to this one for a while but I think this is just too much to ask for a team with a lot of new pieces that needs some time to settle in. Kutz rolls something like 48-24

Gannon (+10.5) at Shepherd - I don't see this one being competitive, Shep pours it on big time

Seton Hill at Lackawanna (+7.5) - really surprised by the SHU/WLU result....not real sure what the Griffins are right now but they should have enough in this one to win by two scores

Edinboro at Bloomsburg - game of the week IMO, two teams that are mirror images of one another. Experience at QB makes the difference, Boro in a tight one

IUP at West Chester (+7.5) - IUP can sleep walk through the next 3 weeks....who was it that was trying tell me that WCU is a tough road test again? yikes, these guys are a shell of their former selves.

Slippery Rock at East Stroudsburg (+7.5) - ESU seems to have taken a huge step back, very unimpressive so far. Rock by 2-3 scores in this one
