I'm sorry, but a true contender doesn't let a bad 1-7 team hang around for 3 quarters at home. 7-0 after 1, 14-0 at halftime, and 20-0 after 3 against SNU? Should have had the backups in after the first series in the 3rd if OBU were a true contender.

At least they finally woke up in the 4th.

Tarleton or Midwestern perhaps.

I would have had Harding in there too, but they might not make the POs. And yes, I know OBU beat them. However, two straight trips to the regional finals (with one win) gives them an advantage, along with the fact their offense is usually extremely difficult to prepare for in a week.

No MIAA teams right now. If NW wins out in convincing fashion, then perhaps they could be added, but I think they are a year away.

Ian is getting lumped in and even confused with MIAA fans. I do disagree with his anomaly stance. Vsu in 04, nw in 05, Pitt in 05, and a whole bunch of other years were teams with squeaker wins or even ugly losses who made runs.

I do agree with his point about experience in the playoffs being helpful. It has proven out more often than not.

Not sure about obu or any of the gac teams this year. Like the MIAA, silo scheduling makes them a wait and see.

He said 5 to 10. He provided the 6 which is what he said he thought there could be on the lower side. He even provided up to 4 more that would be in a next rung pending what happens nearing the 10 tops side of it.
