        • Knocking off the two time defending champions is biggest win since the 06 championship! 16 years of Mitchell mediocrity is FINALLY over!!! Now he's bringing his awfulness to Wisconsin. I believe their 5-5 record is their worst in many years. GOOD RIDDANCE!

That was the best ref'd GLIAC game I seen this year. They let the players play (except for that holding call on our touchdown). I'd take those guys over GLIAC officials in a heartbeat.

Of course you would, because they were more game administrators than referees, haha. They took away Ferris' achilles heel of being the most penalized team in the country. Imagine how good Ferris would be in the MIAA. lol

I made the comment during the game that the MIAA people on here who gave their analysis were spot-on. The MIAA refs didn't want to call ANYTHING during actual gameplay. They were just there to make sure nothing illegal happened before the ball was snapped or after the play was over lol.

                  • Was a good game - Lakers seemed to want it more. We had our chances like in 3Q getting the punt on your 25 and miss a FG. Fumble on a drive and OT thought he could run with ball instead of falling on it and big missed tackles on 3rd down down the stretch. Good luck the rest of the way and represent the GLIAC well - one day the seeding will be sorted out.

Please, as if you guys didn't have hands full of jerseys on all those wide zone plays. Also a couple of hands to the face by your dline that wasn't called. I'm glad they let the teams settle it on the field. Too many times officials, although not purposely, will impact a game one way or another being inconsistent with calls.

To my knowledge I believe we only had 2 false starts, which might be a record in the current era.

You can say "as if you guys" all you want but that doesn't change the fact that Ferris has been in the top 20 for most penalty yards per game in D2 for something like eight straight seasons. So of course you would want a crew that doesn't call penalties lol.

It’s more than a seeding issue. They need to scrap the premade regions altogether. If FCS can have a system that ranks teams in the playoffs properly, so can D2. Last year, FCS had their equivalent of GVSU-FSU in the championship game. Two conference rivals allowed to play through their own sides of the bracket.

The snap was really low. Honestly, in that situation, I would have backed up the punter another couple of yards and had him run around in the endzone a bit before either punting or taking a safety. Still would have been a two score game after that, and we would have gotten the free kick to boot the ball further back, and with some more time burnt off of the clock. was a though that I had right before the low snap anyway.

Yeah, lot of flags that should have been thrown, kept looking at that Ferris State Lineman with the yellow shoes thinking that they were flags.
