Is this the twilight zone right now? Nearly 48 hours went by without a post in this thread, before you and your friends came in here looking for trouble. This couldn't be any more clear. Stop looking for validation everywhere just because it's the first time you've ever won anything of significance.

You must be in the twilight zone. Look at the time stamp on your “PI” pics and TD in the 2nd quarter same as TD in 4th. If that’s 48 hrs to you then u def lost some time in some zone. Interesting how you are THE ONLY GVSU fan still whining. I have no problem with GVSU. My problem is with you. You need a pacifier or a little cheese with your whine? I’ve been following this thread and have to laugh at some of the “back and forth” coming from both sides. Opinions are like kidneys….everybody’s got one or two. But here are some facts. Take them for what they’re worth. 1) Cade Peterson injured his throwing shoulder early in the season and reinsured it in both the Ferris and Pitt State games. To any GV fan that watched most of their games, he was not nearly 100% at Harding. Not even close. His throws were off and he ran tentatively. 2) Our second QB, Avery Moore, played with a high ankle sprain and a torn MCL. When healthy he was virtually unstoppable in the short run game and capable of breaking one if the hole opened. He was a mere shadow of his healthy self at Harding. 3) Our “all everything” defensive end separated his shoulder TWICE in the previous 2 games. He was taped up and had a pretty good game anyway but not nearly 100%. 4) Our second best linebacker (at times our Best linebacker) had surgery on his hand less than two weeks before the game and played anyway. 5) Two of our starting offensive linemen had just returned to the lineup and had limited mobility.

yea, I know, everyone is nicked up. But GV was far more than nicked up. They were the walking wounded. Would a healthier GV beat Harding??? I really don’t know. Add to that ….The Lakers played Ferris and Pitt State in the lead up to this one. Two very physical games. Just the facts. No conjecture. Do with it what you will.

Good luck to the Bison in the future. I suspect we’ll see you and Mines in the Natty.

Very well could have had an outcome of the game. The playoffs are as much of a war of attrition as much as who has the best team at the start of the season. I would never wish for any kid on any team to be hurt but at the same time unfortunately it is part of the game. There is absolutely no doubt the bye week helped us tremendously.

Btw Kle look above to your fellow GVSU poster as these are intelligent and articulate posts that encourage productive Fb discussion. Not well your player stepped on our WR’s toe and it’s just not fair because he couldn’t run as fast the rest of the game.

To me, it feels like the OL isn't able to hold up as well against these playoff defensive rushes, and the pass game isn't built to be a quick strike, so our routes aren't developing in time. Feels like we need more quick slants to counter that.

I don't know what to say about the OL. Either they're not protecting well enough, the receivers aren't getting open, or the routes are taking too long to develop. We've gotta do SOMETHING to tone down that pressure.

Good gosh, offense. The offensive line is not doing anything to help today.

Well, nobody to blame for GV but themselves. Just anemic offense that never adjusted to anything. Poor game by the offensive line. Receivers couldn't get open. Abandoned the run virtually from the jump. Had a billion chances to convert on offense and never did.

I understand we're down to our backup offensive linemen (Jordan Davis wasn't even playing in the 4th, he was replaced by Jaylin Caldwell, the usual RT, and someone new was playing RT), and Cade going out of the game pretty much spelled disaster. But Avery and Thole not knowing the game situations is wild.

This entire loss is on the offense, though. Hurt offensive linemen or not, GV had multiple opportunities in every quarter to get to a two score lead, and the offense crapped the bed every time with stupid decisions.

How many times in this thread would I have had to correctly point out GV lost because of their own fault for you to actually recognize it? Was there any number? I'm guessing not. You just made your mind up without actually reading the thread, and then decided to spout off. Maybe it's because I didn't get on my knees for the Harding D and that's why you're so upset.
