If the offense doesn’t show any growth next year, then they all need to be canned. Bleil should probably have been relieved after the season. But maybe with his guys, they will do better.

Is Brent Venables the D1 version of Rich Wright? Oklahoma hadn’t had a losing season since 1998… now Venables has two in 3 years. To be fair, it took Wright longer to make NW irrelevant. Fortunately, he didn’t have a $44 million buyout.

I’m not sure a move from fired D2 head coach to D1 coordinator is all that likely, but I’ve been wrong before. The coaching game is as much about who you know as what you know.
