Happened last week. I was hoping it would stay a little quieter than those pricks at the news stations are making it

Wow, that was rough to watch. He's even wearing UCO shorts, yikes.

I can't upload the screenshot of the FB post.

He's suffering from PTSD from witnessing a HS friend kill himself in front of him and that was rekindled on 2020 at ACU when a player was in a bad car accident and AD went to see him and the kid was in such bad shape it has caused those old memories to haunt him again.

                hope in one hand...
i'm glad my worst moment's not on the news.
hopefully he's able to recover from this.

I understand he may have some mental Health issues, however this is 2025 and it is very simple to get an uber/lyft. He could have killed someone. Hope he gets the help he needs and recovers.

Unfortunately this isnt the 80s where you hope your family and friends arent reading the Sunday paper to see the weekly arrests.

The last two places I have lived in Texas they have a facebook page where they blast all the arrests twice a day with mugshots and someone always knows the person and story in the comments section.

This was the nail in the coffin for Broyles. I could sympathize with the trauma disorder, but that video was an ugly video to watch. and someone else could seriously have been hurt. It was early in the evening according to the news report this is inexcusable. I hope it doesn't result in a slap on the wrist because of his status and excuse. Tags expired for over a year, mug of whiskey in the cup holder, and inebriated enough that he was stopped in the middle of the road inexplicably, didn't know his address and a witness called in to report it. Count himself lucky he didn't hurt someone and all he stands to lose is his job.

Well this is just a bump in the road, although a pretty big one, especially since the film was released. AD will recover from this, but it may not be at UCO. He made a bad decision and yes very thankful no one was injured or killed.

Sometimes consequences can prod a person to try something different. Hopefully that happens here.
I hope he gets the help he needs.

I'll say this, I think if AD didn't have the ties to NW and the strong reputation around the MIAA you all would be on here ready to put him away for good. If this was one of our UCO players I'm sure the narrative would be different too.

Just a bad situation and I don't see what choice the University will have but to fire him. There isn't really another option that would send the right PR message from the school. I hope he gets some help and I hope he'll know one mistake doesn't erase all the good he has done for UCO and Broncho football.
