Now on to Truman for 3rd game as our all road September continues
S&T had plenty of returners. The targeting call shifted the momentum hard toward NSU.

    • It was definitely a good test for the second game against a quality team. We had to sit down and play deliberate. A test we needed

Did we ever get any type of ruling if Northeastern State would be eligible for the playoffs only having 7 D2 games in case they finish 7-0?

I haven't heard anything, but the Championships Committee meeting that ended today had an agenda item "Sport committee review of selection requirement waivers", which might be related to this situation.

We talked about this briefly on our Inside D2 Football show on Sunday nights near the start of the season..just for a brief moment..the word out there was they were expected to get a waiver for the West FLA game, which was a D2 contest on their schedule and then UWF went D1 in the offseason. I'd expect they'd get a waiver granted for that situation, but we hadn't seen anything since then about an official ruling.

            • Well it's definitely something that should happen because of the fact that it was scheduled that way and we're under contracts we can't break it.

So we started 3-0 all d2 games. Now we have three of the next four against FCS. First of all Northern Colorado. Will probably see our second longest winning streak in D2 go away but I expect us to make this a legit game. Next week I'm a little worried about I think Stephen f Austin is going to really put a hurt on us. Then we're home for utpb. Then a trip to Pensacola for West Florida. If we can get through that gauntlet without a lot of injuries. Then we have a week off then Langston William Jewell McKendree and West Alabama left.

              • Are the Riverhawks going to Greely a couple of days early to get used to playing at elevation? They looked decent against Wyoming and Weber State. They’re still picked 10th in the Big Sky. No way you guys stay on the field with SFA.

probably right. SFA is good and it would be our 4th road game in a row. It has all the makings of a problem.

                    • Unc changed qb mid 4th. He gave them some energy but unc scores ten points in last 90 seconds. Now it's 17-17 going into OT

                      • Well we let that one slip out of our hands unc 24-17 in OT.

Doesn't cost anything other than a little pride.

Your are correct but it was our game. It was over with 90 seconds left then it wasn't . Very frustrating. Still a moral win . On road against a FCS team and we beat them for 58 minutes .
