  • Lions vs. Rams

Big game in San Angelo for a place at the table in the playoffs. Shocking loss by ASU last night makes this a win or go home for both teams. Perfect way to end the LSC conference schedule.

TAMUC on paper is the better team but Angelo is a tough cookie and this one is on the road. Lions have to play a well executed game.

Yesterday we started a linebacker at running back, and the backup was a walk on during week 2. Ramsey left the game last night on crutches, kelan Smith hurt now, along with about half our starting roster. This is getting insane. Hope we kind find a way one more week to play around the injuries.

This will definitely be a dog fight...ASU still has a playoff berth at stake, coming off a loss, and playing at home. Dangerous. Injuries seem to be an issue for both squads like most teams this time a year but it’s getting ridiculous for the Lions. Next man up, survive and advance.

The injuries are BAD for everyone!!!!!! NEVER, EVER an excuse if you lose or reason to brag if you win. EVERY player is a COLLEGE football player. They are EXPECTED to perform. End this silly "we are more injured than you" crap.

I understand Angelo has a DB playing OL and the bands #1 tuba player filling in at 0 tech. Things looking rough.Geesh.

There are some serious reading comprehension issues in this thread.

Indeed, elite programs are built on the depth that they develop up and down their rosters. That depth, not the injuries every program has this time of year, will determine the LSC’s 2nd bid to the playoffs. I’m expecting both teams to step up, should be a dandy!

Did it ever occur to you the player probably played some RB earlier in his football career. Really not that big of jump like an Offensive Tackle playing QB or WR!!!

Per TheLionWire, Official Attendance Numbers for the Regular season:

37,120 fans total among 5 games.

Average of 7,424 fans per game.

I’m as perplexed as anyone when it comes to D2 attendance, but i’d say that number sounds accurate from the games I attended this year and applying HerbStreet’s calculations. Lol
