Our new d coordinator was a first team all American linebacker at Virginia Tech and played lb in the NFL for awhile, I'm assuming he was taking over lb's regardless.

Probably have a GA as LBer position coach.

Who is assuming the DFW recruiting territory that Conrad mastered?

Well spring practice should be interesting. Just saw this on Twitter:

Texas A&M-Commerce (@Lion_Athletics) Coach David Bailiff has a unique group of volunteer coaches to help during spring ball including 1989 Heisman Trophy winner Andre Ware,former #Texans DT Travis Johnson (@trapj99),former Rice/Michigan RB @sam_mcguffie &former TCU DE Bo Schobel.

Andre Ware: "I love Coach Bailiff. I was flattered that he asked. I'd like to teach them how to win in preparation for game day. How to study your opponent and get a competitive advantage pre-snap. It's impossible for a QB to prepare for a game on 20 hours per week."

Travis Johnson: "I'm going over there to help Coach Bailiff install his philosophy and help install his culture for the defense to play sideline to sideline with no seat belt."

Sam McGuffie: "It's an absolute privilege. Coach Bailiff is one of the finest coaches, one of the finest individuals. So anything to help out his guys and help him out. Just want to give back and give some of my knowledge to his players."

Bo Schobel finished 3rd in career sacks at TCU and won a Super Bowl ring with the Colts.

Sounds exciting... I doubt this happens often in D2.
