The Buffs are allowing 4.97 runs per game (not ERA, but total runs allowed avg.), so it's not really too far off the mark.

LCU is averaging 8 runs scored per game, so you kept under their average.

Great weekend for WT. The Buffs took 3 of 4 from ASU. A split would have been good against them. Game 1 was a pitchers duel that Buffs won 2-0. They hit 7 HRs over the next 3 games. These guys can hit the baseball. Buffs are in 1st place in LSC at 28-8. Face TAMUI at home Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

No shame in that on the road but looks like that make their chances super slim winning the LSC regular conference title. Should be a fun LSC tournament.

I don't really follow baseball....but, did WT suffer injuries or something? I see they dropped 4 of their last 5 games, the latest a 11-14 loss to St.Edward's at home.

              Any info??

Another tough weekend for the Buffs. Dropped 3 of 4 to St. Eds. Except for another great performance by Jack Egan, pitching was pathetic. He won 2-0. In the 3 losses, Buffs pitching gave up 40 runs on 45 hits including 4 HRs, 3 triples and 8 doubles. Big innings were a nemesis again much like they were against TAMUK. Buffs are 2nd seed and host first round of LSC tourney starting Friday against the 7th seed; not sure who that is yet but probably St. Mary's. It's a best 2 out of 3 format. Not good for the Buffs when only one pitcher has performed well recently. You can't sugarcoat it. But we'll hope for a better showing. Go Buffs!

Did Angelo win the LSC Championship??

So if Buffs are 2nd seed, they must of gad great pitching during the year to finish so high. If so, what has changed?

Buffs take 2 from OC. Finally got some better relief pitching. Will face St. Eds next Thursday in San Angelo. Go Buffs!

Then you all can blame McBroom and Hughes for this too...

Buffs open the season at Laredo this weekend, Buffs will be good. Opposing pitchers will have a tough time with Buff hitters. The entire lineup are tough outs. But as with any team, you need good pitching. That’s a question right now with several new arms on the staff. Got my season tickets and am ready for Buffs baseball.
